Volleyball advances in post-season

The Broncs volleyball team advanced to sub-state after going 3-0 at the regional quad in Lakin Monday.
The girls won two of the matches in straight sets, taking down Lyons 25-8 and 25-19 in the first match and Norton 25-22 and 25-20 in the final match.
The tough match was against Minneapolis in their second round, where Lakin prevailed 25-8, 19-25 and 25-16.
Now 35-4, Lakin will continue in post-season when they host sub-state Saturday. Four teams will compete in bracket play, with the winner advancing to the state tournament in Hutchinson.
