Cross country sweeps at Greeley County

Both boys and girls cross country teams took the team titles at Greeley County Saturday.
The boys scored 37 points in the seven-team field to outdistance Stanton County’s 56.
The girls scored 28 points among four teams to outdistance Oakley’s 55.
Camden Bergkamp won the boys title, running in 18:01.98.
Kate Miller captured the girls title, running 21:13.39.
Other boys finishers: 6th—Blake Matthews (18:59.62); 7th—Gavin Dyas (19:08.01); 14th—Tyler Johnson (20:17.69); 15th—Josiah Sholtz (20:23.04); 18th—Kannon Woodrow (20:32.19).
Other girls finishers: 5th—Emma Miller (22:02.73); 10th—Claire Barnhardt (23:37.67); 13th—Amari Esquibel (24:29.25); 15th—Honey Murillo (24:53.03); 33rd—Abby Holmes (30:48.53).
