Softball splits with Cimarron

The softball team split a doubleheader at Cimarron, losing 11-4 but taking game two 6-5.
In game one, Julia Arreola had three hits, including a double, to lead the Broncs. Lakin out-hit the Blue jays 11-6 ini the loss.
Cimarron scored six times in the bottom of second and five more in the fourth. Only four of the 11 runs were earned as Lakin committed eight errors.
Lileah Villa had two hits, including a double.
Moriah Ortiz gave up five hits, struck out six and walked six in four innings.
In the second game, Arreloa had two hits, including a double.
Cimarron led 3-1 after two innings before the Broncs tied the game. They tied again at 5-5 in the fourth before scoring the go-ahead run in the fifth on an error.
The Broncs out-hit the Jays 4-3.
Ortiz got the win, allowing two hits and two runs over five and one-third innings. She struck out seven and walked five.
Taegan Oldham gave up one hit and three runs (one earned) in relief, striking out one and walking four.
