Lakin girls third at Scott City

The girls track team finished third of 13 teams at the 88th annual Scott City Relays Tuesday.
Cimarron placed first with 79 points and Colby second with 73. The Broncs scored 72 points.
The girls picked up four individual titles for the day, two from Aryn Michaelis and two from Alyssa Edgington.
Michaelis took the high jump title, clearing 5-6. She also won the triple jump, leaping 36-4.5.
Michaelis had the fastest qualifying time in the 100-meter hurdles but clipped a hurdle late in the finals and hit the track, finishing eighth.
Edgington won the long jump, going 17-0, and the pole vault, clearing 10-0.
Edgington also finished third in the triple jump (34-8.25).
Amari Esquibel finished fourth in the 100-meter dash and Jordan McCombs third in the 100-meter hurdles.
Emma Miller was third in the 3200-meter run and seventh in the 1600-meter run.
The 4x800 relay team placed third and the 4x100 relay was fourth.
