Golfers win in Ulysses

The Lakin golfers continued their winning ways, winning the Ulysses Invitational Monday after winning their own meet a week earlier.

Lakin carded 348 strokes, winning by a wide margin over Colby (377) and Scott City (388) in the nine-team meet.

Kevin Tanner and Noah Garcia tied for second by shooting 8-over par (80), two strokes behind winner Jackson Romford of Scott City.

Maddux Beltran shot 93 to finish eighth and Brayson Hoover shot 95 to finish 11th.
