Golfers win own meet

The boys golf team shined on their home course Monday, winning the Lakin Invitational.

The Broncs won with a low team score of 330. Elkhart was second with 344, and Syracuse third at 354.

Six teams competed.

Noah Garcia won the tournament with a 76 (six-over par), while Kevin Tanner shot a 77 to finish second.

Maddux Beltran placed seventh by shooting an 81.

Other Lakin golfers were Brayson Hoover (96) and Jayce Bless (109).

The Broncs will compete Monday in Ulysses.
