Girls track ninth at Great Bend

The girls track team competed Friday in Great Bend at the Jack Bowman Invitational.

The Broncs finished ninth of 11 teams with 36 points. Andale won with 128.

Aryn Michaelis placed in all four of her events.

The freshman was third in the 100-meter hurdles (16.52) and in the triple jump (34-1.5). She was fourth in the high jump (5-2) and sixth in the 300-meter hurdles (51.12).

Alyssa Edgington placed in three events. The junior was fourth in the pole vault (9-0), fifth in the long jump (16-3.5) and seventh in the 100-meter hurdles (17.85).

Amari Esquibel placed sixth in the 200-meter dash (27.91).
