Swimmers help Holcomb finish second

The Holcomb combined swim team finished second at the Garden City meet last Thursday. 

Kinzie Berning-Lohman-Fuller and Marieke Van Der Knaap helped the team to 328 points. Garden City finished first with 453?points. Dodge City was third (183) and Liberal fourth (151).

Both girls were part of the 400-yard freestyle medley that finished sixth. 

Berning-Lohman-Fuller placed eighth in the 200-yard individual medley. 

She was also part of the 200-yard freestyle relay that placed third and the 200-yard medley relay that finished fourth. 

Van Der Knaap competed in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke. 

She also swam a leg on the 200-yard freestyle relay.
