Girls compete at Goodland wrestling

The girls wrestlers competed in Goodland Saturday at the Holiday Classic tournament.
Ivy Davis placed second at 135 pounds, going 4-1, with all of her wins by fall.
Her first three wins were pins in 45, 11 and nine seconds, respectively, and her fourth win was by fall in 4:43.
The senior (12-3) lost her title match by fall (2:59).
Luna Vazquez placed seventh at 105 pounds, and Miley Roth placed 12th at 125.
Sarah Peters placed 10th at 130, Olivia Shelton wrestled at 140, and Ileana Robles went 1-1 at 190 pounds.
The wrestlers are scheduled to compete in Larned Jan. 4 and in Lamar Jan. 5.
