Alli Mead ended her high school home course career Saturday on a high note.
The senior finished second at the Lakin meet, where she scored a personal best 85.
Winning score was a 79 by Amelia Bowles of Atwood.
Mead started her day with a seven on the first hole but recovered to shoot 45 on her front nine.
On the back nine, Mead finished birdie-birdie for a 40.
Mya Brown finished 17th with a 112. She struggled on the front nine with a 60 but came back with her second nine, shooting a 52.
Next up for the girls is the Class 3-2-1A regional meet at Goodland Oct. 9.
