Girls track wins first meet

Tuesday’s track meet at Stanton County proved successful for the girls as they won with 108.5 points.
South Gray was runner-up with 107 points and Cimarron third with 103.
The girls had four first places in the close meet.
Freshman Aryn Michaelis set a school record in the high jump, clearing 5-7.
Michaelis was also second in the 100-meter hurdles (17.52), 300-meter hurdles (50.40) and triple jump (34-6.5).
Amari Esquibel won the 100-meter dash in 13.68 seconds, as well as the 200-meters in 27.80.
Esquibel was third in the long jump (15-9.5).
Alyssa Edgington won the pole vault, clearing 9-6.
Edgington was also second in the long jump (16-1) and third in both the 200-meters (28.75) and the 100-meter hurdles (18.13).
