Last Saturday the middle school track team traveled to Elkhart as they competed in the league meet.
The boys won the league title as they ended the meet with 208 points while in second place was Southwestern Heights with 79 points.
For the eight grade boys, Armando Salcido won the 100, 200 and 400 meter dashes. Salcido's times were 12.33, 26.32, 57.67. 
Colter Oldham won all of his events which were shot put, discus, high jump and long jump. His throws were 198-04 for discus, 53-05 for shot put and Oldham jumped 5-11 in high jump and 18-08 for long jump.
His throw in the discus places him first in the nation.
Ross Rider won the 100-meter hurdles (12.33), 200-meter hurdles (29.51) and triple jump (37-01.5).
Alex Luce won the 1600 meter run in a time of 5:18.61 and the 800 meter run in 2:21.92. 
Dru Patterson won the pole vault getting over the height of 7-06.
Austin Ritsema placed second in the 3200 meter run, and Timmy Johnson was second in the 100 and 200 meter hurdles.
The relay team of the 4x100 meters consisted of Alex Luce, Austin Ritsema, Dru Patterson and David Ezeigbo placed third behind Sublette and Heights.
The eighth grade boys placed second in the 4x200 meter relay, run by Adrik Gomez, Eric Munson, Ritsema and Ezeigbo.
The 4x400 relay won first place with a time of 3:54.18 with Eric Munson, Ross Rider, Salcido and Luce.
