In their first outing since the 2019 season, the Broncs baseball program picked up a pair of wins over the visiting Syracuse Bulldogs Monday, 15-0 and 13-3.

In the first game, senior Jace Bachman recorded all 12 outs on strikeouts to get the Broncs off to their season.

The senior faced just 13 batters, surrendering one walk while throwing 57 pitches.

The Broncs scored two runs in the first inning and three in the second before erupting for eight in the third.

Matt Morgan and Hunter Davis both had three hits and three RBI.

Bachman hit a pair of doubles and Morgan one, while Lawson Beymer legged out a drive to left field for an inside-the-park home run.
