Forensics team opens season.   

   The high school forensics team competed in its second meet of the season this past Saturday in Holcomb, placing fourth as a team. Emily Munson placed first in impromptu. Cristy Ramirez was third in dramatic solo. Ethan Horton was fourth in extemporaneous. Kaitlyn Peters placed fourth in poetry. Peters and Katie Harker were fourth in improv duet. Meagan Ritsema placed fifth in poetry.

     The team also competed in Southwestern Heights on Wednesday. Horton finished fifth in prose. Ramirez was third in serious solo. Ritsema was fourth in poetry. Munson placed fourth in impromptu. Peters and Harker were fifth in improv duet. Horton and Hartman were third in improv duet.
