The District Leadership Team is meeting today to start planning our "Continuous Learning" plan. At this point, Lakin USD #215 will have NO face-to-face instruction through April 27. Lakin USD 215 will be serving a grab & go breakfast (7-9) and lunch (11-1) free of charge to anyone under 18 starting on Tuesday while school is not in session due to COVID-19. There will be a pickup spot outside the cafeteria entrance at the grade school to pickup the meals.

The MS stock the store drive was successful last week! We collected over 645 items for our store! The eighth graders pulled off a come from behind win on the last day, bringing 292 items throughout the week. Thank you to Dollar General for the use of your grocery carts during the week. LMS has started their stock the store drive this week. Austin bought a pair of track spikes last week from the store and came back today with 4 pairs of shoes that he is donating to the store! AWESOME job Austin. The store will take anything. If you have junk laying around your house, it might be a treasure to someone here at the middle school! We are always taking donations!
USD #215 will host an open house on Tuesday, November 5, from 5-6PM to tour the facilities. We realize that community input is crucial as we work to upkeep and modernize our facilities. Areas to check out include the GS playground, the HS gym and rubber gym, auditorium.

The thrift store employees are organizing a STOCK THE STORE drive next week, November 4-8. They are collecting these things, but will take ANYTHING!! Kids are opening checking accounts, depositing “money” that they have earned in school, making withdrawals, cashing checks, checking their online bank statement, and everything else that comes with a checking account. MS volleyball finished their regular season in Cimarron tonight. The A team won and had an undefeated regular season, the B team beat Cimarron who had beat them earlier in the season, and the C team lost in the third set but played a good game and showed much improvement.
