Mr. David Hughes

David Hughes will be student teaching in the 5th-6th grade hallway this semester. He is fulfilling his degree requirements through Newman University.
David moved to Lakin 7 years ago and was married to the late Elizabeth Bergkamp. Together they have one daughter Emily who will be 5 years old.
Mr. Hughes is excited to be completing his internship program with USD 215. He looks forward to working with the students, parents and educators of Lakin and hopes to remain in this area after obtaining his teaching certificate.
