Cross Country Performs Well At First Meet

Broncs Bring Home Five Medalists

The Lakin High School Cross Country Team begin their competitive season running at the Goodland Invitational on Thursday, September 4.  There were five medalists including Zac Anthony and Bryce Koehn who placed 8th and 10th in the Junior-Senior Boys Division.  Cassie Kessler and Brittany Root placed 3rd and 6th in the Junior-Senior Girls Division and Jaden Bolmer, in her first meet as a cross country runner, placed 10th in the Freshmen-Sophomore Girls Division.  Many runners improved their times from last year.  Kevin Siersema running for the first time also had a good performance.

 

The next meet for the Broncs will be at the Greeley County Invitational on Saturday, September 13th.  The meet will begin at 9:00 a.m. (MT).
