This year the team's motto is F.A.C.E. If you see a football player out and about, ask them to explain what this means. We put a lot of time and effort in to developing quality student-athletes at Lakin Middle School. The coaching staff expects a very high level of discipline to be displayed within our team and in the community. We are very proud of the way our student-athletes conduct themselves and we want to keep it that way.

Recent game comments:
It's not often that you find a team that runs a reverse as their standard play, but that's what we were faced with in Elkhart. They ran it well on us, too. We really didn't have an answer for that particular play. However, we stopped them when we had to and got the ball back to score on offense.
Going in to the game we were concerned about the wind blowing and the affect on our passing game, but wind or not we were going to throw the ball. We got the wind at our backs the first quarter and threw a short pass for a long gain that scored our first TD. Then we kept throwing short passes that allowed our receivers to gain "YAC" (Yards After Catch). I was very pleased with our offensive performance. The line gave us enough time to get a pass off and the running backs and receivers did the rest.
