"You Only Get Out What You Put In" -Bill Cordes
This is our classroom motto. If you want to get a lot out of this class, then YOU have to put forth the effort. Yes, you will have to work with a partner while doing the labs, but it is up to you to learn and know the information you and your partner are working on.
In order for you to have a positive, successful experience in the Tech Lab, the following are rules by which you will abide:
You need to stay at your workstation unless I have given you permission to leave.
Use the call light as it is intended.
You need to be extremely careful with all of the equipment.
You need to help your partner while doing the module and keep it organized. This includes pushing your chair in before you leave.
I will dismiss you from the Tech Lab, not the bell.
Set your chair at a comfortable position at the beginning of the hour and leave it there (RONCO rule).
You need to make an honest effort to work constructively with your partner. (PC2)
You need to stay focused on your module and not bother other students working on their module. Others may be doing something that "looks neat," but you need to do your own work.
You must finish all work for that module before you can move to another. If you are gone, you must make it up.
All school rules apply in the Tech Lab.
There are four things you control while in the lab. They should be easy to remember because they are on either side of your head. It's your EARS.
Effort
Attitude
Responsibility
Sincerity
