Tim Blackburn
My wife, Brenda, and I have lived in Lakin since 1984. We have three children: Andrew, a senior; Elyssa, a freshman; and Christian, a 6th grader.
I received my bachelor’s degree from BethanyCollege, my master’s degree from FortHaysStateUniversity, and an ESL endorsement from KSU.
I have a wide variety of interests which include family activities, church involvement, music, sports, astronomy, and coaching. I currently teach 5th & 6th grade science and coach the Lakin High School Scholars’ Bowl team and the Lakin Middle School Quiz Bowl team. I truly enjoy the challenges and joys these bring.
