Number 2 scores first. During the Friday night football game, Dawsen Shalberg scores the first homecoming touchdown on a 91-yard kick off return on the opening play. The Broncs won against Elkhart 34-18 in the homecoming game, leaving the Broncs still undefeated. "I started running to the right, got some blocks and saw a good hole and ran," Shalberg said. He also scored twice more in the run.
Football gets third win

The Broncs played against the Elkhart Wildcats last Friday, outscoring them 34-18 to improve to 3-0.
The Broncs scored all the points they would need in the first period.
On the opening kickoff, senior Dawsen Shalberg caught the ball at his own 9-yard line and ran it back 91 yards, scoring the first touchdown of the game.
Shalberg then ran 18 yards scoring the second touchdown.
Senior Khai Hernandez caught a 75-yard pass from senior Hunter Kirby, they ended the first quarter 20-6.
In the second quarter Shalberg ran 11 yards for the next Bronc touchdown.
It wasn't until the last quarter that Lakin scored again, with senior Clay Michel running for the last touchdown.
Shalberg had a nine carries for 90 yards rushing. Michel was 10-41 and Johnney Perez 1-11.
Kirby went 4-of-9 passing for 118 yards.
Hernandez had the one catch for 75 yard and Michel had one for 34 yards.
Leading in tackles was Shalberg with 15. Coy Adams was in on 12, and Hadley Panzer 10, including one sack.
The Broncs play at Sublette this Friday.
